Trading Terms

Nett 30 days from statement date. Settlement discount of 2.5% is available if payment is made within 14 days of statement date. We also accept Mastercard & Visa if you wish to pay by credit card.

Retention of Title

The ownership of any goods purchased from NAV Imports Australia Pty Ltd will not pass on to the purchaser until payment is received in full. In the event that the customer fails to pay for the goods in accordance with our trading terms or within such alternative time that may be agreed or in the event of the customer being declared bankrupt, insolvent or entering into an agreement with creditors, or a liquidator, receiver or manager being appointed to the customer or any of its assets then this will constitute a breach of the agreement and the company shall thereafter be entitled to retake possession of the goods and to that purpose shall be entitled to enter the customers premises for the purpose of repossessing such goods.

Shortages

Claims for shortages or incorrect deliveries must be notified within 3 working days of receipt of goods. If the buyer has nominated a carrier for the delivery of such goods, responsibility for damage or loss passes to the buyer upon our delivery to the nominated carrier.

Returns & Cancellations

Any goods that have been supplied in accordance with a customers order but which are subsequently returned will only be credited providing that they are in a saleable condition and that

Our written agreement has been obtained.
The amount credited shall be up to 20% less than the value at which the goods were invoiced.
They are packed suitably for shipment back to us.
The customer meets all costs incurred for their return.
Goods will not be credited after 14 days unless by prior agreement.
The original Invoice No. & date must be quoted when returning goods.

Warranty

Most products listed in this catalogue carry a 12 month warranty against defective material and faulty workmanship from the date of the reseller's sale. When returned the product must be accompanied by the resellers sales docket for proof. No warranty return will be accepted unless prior authorization is given by NAV Imports, together with a claim number. Items used incorrectly or abused (if proven) are not covered by this warranty.

Exceptions to the 12 month warranty are as follows:

	1. Jump Starters	3 months
	2. Air Equipment	3 months
	3. Hydraulic Equipment	3 months
	4. Water Pumps	6 months

Freight

	NSW Metro:	Orders over $500 (before GST) F.I.S. Under $500 (before GST) $10 per carton.
	NSW Country:	Orders over $2000 (before GST) F.I.S. Under $2000 (before GST) $10 per carton or $50 per pallet.

Customers may also nominate their own mode of transport.Freight charges to Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia and Northern Territory will be by arrangement.

Minimum Order Quantity:

Due to freight and manpower constraints we need to apply a minimum order quantity of $100 per order.
